Purpose & Scope

•    Category Management - Responsible for optimizing global external spend through the planning and execution of strategic procurement and sourcing processes within the assigned category.
•    Analyze, plan, execute and follow up tender and renegotiation activities within responsible category.
•    Leverage supplier base through Supplier relationship and contract management within the responsible category.

 

Key Competencies

•    Develop a detailed understanding of responsible sourcing category and serve as the source of insight, strategy, and process knowledge to support related business requirements.
•    Managing competitive sourcing processes, tenders/RFPs, supplier selections and contract processes.
•    Develop a detailed understanding of the supplier market within assigned category.
•    Plan and execute SRM and Contract Management within responsible category.
•    Develop and execute sourcing category strategy.
•    Ensure compliance to companywide policies for sourcing, supplier management and contract management.
•    Develop a competitive market situation for products and services.
•    Driver for cost efficiencies/reductions within category and for TGS as a whole.
•    Support Sourcing Team in strategies and act as a team player

 

Key Responsibilities 

•    Ability to establish and execute on strategic plans to use strategic procurement as company leverage.
•    Ability to optimize external spend.
•    Good analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
•    Experienced in negotiations and sourcing processes.
•    Proven ability to manage change with personal commitment and drive.
•    Analytical mindset and ability to quantify opportunities.
•    Clear communication with external and internal stakeholders
