TGS provides scientific data and intelligence to companies active in the energy sector. In addition to a global, extensive and diverse energy data library, TGS offers specialized services such as advanced processing and analytics alongside cloud-based data applications and solutions. TGS Prediktor is a leading asset management and real-time data management solutions provider to renewable and energy asset owners.

The Multi-Client Business Analytics Intern will leverage modern data and generative AI tools to support pricing, sales, and digital insights for TGS’ Multi-Client business. In this role, the intern will work directly with financial data from SAP, interact with our order-management system and legal agreements through APIs and agents, and contribute to improving the quality and consistency of the underlying datasets.

A key objective of the internship is to help calibrate agent responses across orders, contracts, entitlement, and SAP data. These insights will support pricing workflows, commercial decision-making, and the broader TGS Knowledge Platform (TKP).

The internship requires a data-science-oriented background, but does not require deep experience in time-series or financial modeling. Our initial analytical approaches will focus on simple, interpretable methods that link historical activity, customer behavior, and commercial performance.

Interns will gain exposure to modern data workflows, AI-assisted analytics, pricing model development, and real commercial data from one of the world’s largest energy-data providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with financial data from SAP, order-management data and contracts accessed via APIs and AI agents, to prepare and clean datasets for analysis.

  • Support the implementation of pricing models and other models.

  • Implement model evaluation pipelines.

  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in historical pricing and sales data.

  • Help deliver and iteratively our AI agents.

Key Competencies:

  • Data analysis and modeling.

  • The ability to independently author Python code using modern version control.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to clean, structure, and validate messy datasets

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams

  • Comfort working with incomplete, inconsistent, or real-world business data

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree with an analytical component or currently pursuing.

  • Background in data analysis, quantitative modeling, or experimental work involving structured data

  • Experience with Python and common numerical and analysis libraries like Pandas.

  • Ability to interpret results, identify patterns, and communicate insights clearly

  • Strong attention to detail when working with inconsistent or messy datasets

  • Exposure to SQL and basic scripting for automation is preferred but not essential.

If you are passionate about cloud technology and developer platforms, and ready to help evolve our multi-cloud strategy, please submit your application by 05/29/2026.
