Responsibilities:

  • Research/screening of public domain data in basins identified by TGS for evaluation
  • Provide overview of basin/play type, prospectivity, petroleum systems and application of seismic data.
  • Utilize proprietary TGS data to advance evaluations, including preparation of  cross sections and maps
  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and reporting of assigned project work
  • Preparation of presentation materials for designated projects
  • Take responsibility for your own safety, and comply with all instructions given regarding health, safety and the protection of the environment
  • Ensure the correct use of safety devices and protective equipment as required and report any hazards, accidents or injuries to your immediate supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum third year geoscience undergraduate program
  • Experience with geoscience software: familiarity with seismic interpretation, well sections, and subsurface mapping techniques is required.
  • Familiarity with well production and completion data is an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as word, excel and PowerPoint required
  • Analytical in nature and attentive to details
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle various tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team setting while contributing to a positive and healthy work environment
