Purpose & Scope
Support the business development team in identifying and securing MC revenue and library investment opportunities for Offshore USA and Canada. Drive portfolio growth through client engagement, proposal development, and strategic market analysis
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, propose and develop new multi-client opportunities and projects within the Gulf of America and East Coast Canada including preparation of investment cases, , with measurable targets such as number of projects initiated and forecasted revenue contribution.
- Preparation of client proposals and presentations for review and discussion
- Work with key client teams to identify and develop new multi-client opportunities by fully understanding their organization and needs
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Continually seek business intelligence from active clients and potential new entrants into assigned countries of focus, sharing information with Vice President, North America and team
- Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Finance, Marine Contract, IMG organizations and potential external partners in developing new opportunities and manage risk
- Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company standards
- Assist with the generation of quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting estimates, as well as weekly updates to include investment and revenue forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Geophysics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (internships acceptable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
