The Imaging Operations Intern will work alongside our Imaging team on active seismic projects, contributing to data preparation, velocity model development, imaging evaluations, and exploratory machine-learning applications, supporting our mission to deliver industry-leading imaging solutions through innovation, quality, and data-driven workflows. The intern will gain exposure to advanced processing methodologies, high-performance computing environments, and structured mentorship while building strong technical skills and supporting key initiatives across our global portfolio.
Responsibilities:

Support seismic data preparation and quality review for ongoing imaging projects.

Contribute to testing and evaluating imaging workflows under the guidance of senior team members.

Assist in developing and refining velocity models, incorporating interpretation and numerical insights.

Participate in progress reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.

Document observations, results, and learnings throughout the internship.

Own a focused technical project and prepare and deliver a final presentation.

Familiarity with Python or MATLAB for data analysis and numerical methods is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a BSc, MSc, or PhD in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.

Strong foundation in wave propagation, signal processing, or numerical methods.

Familiarity with Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
