About the Role

We are looking for a Content Creator to support the production, distribution, and promotion of high‑quality editorial and marketing content across TGS 4C, with a focus on wind energy and related supply chains. This is an entry‑level role, ideal for a strong writer at the start of their career who is keen to develop editorial, digital, and content production skills within a specialist B2B environment. You will work closely with analysts, researchers, and senior colleagues, learning how to translate complex industry insight into clear, accurate, and engaging content for a professional audience. The role plays a key part in delivering timely industry news, supporting thought leadership, and extending the reach of analysis through written and social channels.

What you'll be doing

Editorial & news content

  • Researching, drafting, and editing industry news articles covering wind energy, subsea power cables, and related supply chains
  • Working with internal analysts and subject‑matter experts to turn insights, data, and briefings into clear, publishable content
  • Publishing content via company websites and affiliated platforms using a CMS
  • Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with editorial tone and style guidelines

Content repurposing & distribution

  • Adapting news and insight content for use across digital channels, particularly LinkedIn
  • Supporting the scheduling and formatting of posts to maximise clarity and reach
  • Helping maintain a clear distinction between editorial news and marketing‑led content
  • Supporting the creation and formatting of customer emails focused on retention and product updates (such as newsletters, platform updates, feature highlights, and content alerts), aligned with editorial and marketing objectives

Social media support (primarily LinkedIn)

  • Assisting with drafting and editing LinkedIn copy aligned to published articles and insights
  • Supporting ongoing improvement of post structure, tone, and consistency
  • Monitoring basic performance indicators and sharing feedback to inform future content

Collaboration & development

  • Working closely with research, analysis, marketing, and digital teams
  • Being open to feedback, editing, and iteration as part of skill development
  • Gradually taking on greater responsibility as experience and confidence grow

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Strong written communication skills with attention to structure, clarity, and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt writing style for different formats and audiences
  • Interest in news, current affairs, or specialist industry content
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast‑paced environment

Qualifications

  • A‑level English or another A‑level with a strong written and analytical focus
  • Degree‑level study completed or near completion in a relevant subject (for example humanities, social sciences, journalism, communications, marketing, or similar)
  • A short writing test will be required as part of the application or interview process

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Interest in wind energy, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, LinkedIn, or basic analytics tools
  • Experience contributing to student publications, blogs, newsletters, or similar

Role development

This role is designed to grow over time. With experience, the Content Creator may progress towards greater ownership of content streams, deeper editorial responsibility, and broader involvement in digital and media activity.

Salary & benefits

The salary for this role is competitive and will be offered in line with experience and internal benchmarking.

We offer a supportive learning environment, exposure to specialist industry content, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation in editorial and digital content creation.
