TGS provides scientific data and intelligence to companies active in the energy sector. In addition to a global, extensive and diverse energy data library, TGS offers specialized services such as advanced processing and analytics alongside cloud-based data applications and solutions. TGS Prediktor is a leading asset management and real-time data management solutions provider to renewable and energy asset owners.

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead – Frontend Engineering & Architecture to shape the frontend architecture across TGS Prediktor’s Data Gateway and Asset Management products, including our mobile application. You will provide hands-on technical leadership and help establish a shared, reusable UI foundation supporting different product experiences built around a common domain model. Our products work with large and complex data volumes. Performance, scalability, and turning complex industrial data into intuitive user experiences are therefore central to the role.

What you will do

  • Own and evolve our frontend architecture across web and mobile, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions
  • Drive the architecture and evolution of a shared UI framework supporting Data Gateway and Asset Management opportunities
  • Take technical ownership of our mobile application and its evolution alongside our wider frontend architecture
  • Remain hands-on, solving complex engineering challenges alongside the team
  • Translate user needs and our canonical domain model into intuitive, consistent product experiences
  • Drive performance and scalability, particularly for applications handling large data volumes
  • Establish and champion modern engineering practices across architecture, quality, testing, CI/CD, security, and observability
  • Champion agentic development workflows, using modern coding agents effectively, while maintaining strong engineering judgement and ownership of quality
  • Stay current with modern frontend and disruptive technologies, experimenting where new approaches can create meaningful product value
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers and understand the APIs, data models and architecture behind the user experience
  • Mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and raise the engineering bar across the team

What we are looking for

  • You typically bring 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including significant experience with frontend architecture, production systems, and technical leadership.
  • You are highly self-driven and comfortable taking ownership and setting direction, proactively identifying what needs to improve and driving technical initiatives from idea through implementation.

You also bring:

  • Deep experience building modern, production-grade web applications
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, C#/.NET, React, React native, and modern frontend architectures
  • Proven experience owning and evolving frontend architecture for complex products
  • Experience developing and owning mobile applications in production
  • Production experience with large data volumes, performance, and scalability
  • Strong understanding of UX and user-centered product development
  • Solid experience with agentic coding practices and modern developer tooling
  • Good understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and backend concepts, with a desire to understand the whole system
  • Strong engineering practices across testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and maintainability
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring
  • Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies and continuously improve how software is built

We value technical depth without expecting one person to have every answer. A great Tech Lead brings others into decisions, challenges assumptions, and helps the team arrive at better solutions.

If you are passionate about cloud technology and developer platforms, and ready to help evolve our multi-cloud strategy, please submit your application by 11/16/2026.
